Diesel-generator 2А-9DG-01 including diesel engine 16ChN26/26, a modern 4-cycle 16-cylinder V-type engine, is intended for installation in new passenger diesel locomotives TEP70BS (a.c.-d.c.) with power supply of train cars produced by JSC “Kolomensky Zavod”. Diesel locomotive is intended for hauling superior comfort passenger trains on railways with gauge 1520 mm.
